Hey guys I am new to these forums but I am not new to NovaLogic. All I have to say is, I know its an OLD game and the graphics don't really keep up with the modern graphics, but that game was always fun to play, people still play it to this day, people are trying to come up with anti cheat software for this game and people still love it. THe game im speaking of is the originall DFBHD. What happened there? All the money that Nova used to come up with these new games they could have used that money for updating DFBHD, or better yet try to keep DFBHD by making another game like it but mabye better graphics or something. Actually remake a game that everyone likes and loved. I remmember when Joint ops was first coming out I couldnt wait to play it, I was excited becuase I expected BHD but NO such luck. that game messed everything up for me with Nova and now these others stupid games. OMG what are they thinking?

Welcome to our refugee forum Jxwisniewski.

Your totally right. BHD was a great game. Maybe not as good as DF2 in its heyday but it was still damn good fun. I agree also that JO was a total turkey. It was because of JO I gave up on Nova and shut down DFMax. I couldnt support something I knew to be so bad. Especially as Novalogic had no intention of ever fixing it. Now I know I made the right decision in shutting down the websites. It was better to go out on a high than suffer a slow painfull death. I ocasionally take a look at the few community sites that are left it and it is sorry state of affairs they now find themselves in. A slow painful lingering death they are having to endure and I am so glad I am not a part of that.

Novalogic are a company I simply cannot understand. DFX2 has been an utter disaster but its a rehashed JO. If it failed once then what idiot thought it would work this time around. Also this gold membership idea is beyond comprehension. How a company that is in such a precarious position as Novalogic are in now feel they can roll out a pay for play game is truelly a mind numbing decision. I could see it if they had a killer title with tens of thousands playing but they do not so it was madness.

There is someone at Novalogic who has simply destroyed a once excellent company over the last 6 years or so. How they are still employed is also beyond me because it is blatently obvious that as a manager they are completely an utterly useless whoever they are. Nologic is extremely appropriate because I certainly cannot get my head around the crazy decisions made at Novalogic over the last few years. In the past I predicted a lot of things re Novalogic and sadly they have all come to pass. Its a shame that nobody there had the same insight.

Zombie killing anyone? Resident Evil 5 is out. The first of the series I've played, definitely a run 'n gun; as well as a console port. Substanderd PC graphics (compared to Crysis, Far Cry 2 and such), runs smooth though with all the candy (such as it is) dialed up. No lean, crouch, prone, or save games for this blood fest!

So I am not impressed with the newest Wolfenstein. I really dislike scripted dialog interactions in a FPS game. It would be cool if you could choose how to respond, but you can't so it becomes boring nonsense to have to listen to something that really has no affect on my game play. The AI are pretty smart (not like FarCry smart) but pretty predictive. Graphics are nice, but not what I expected. I was looking for a bit more realism in the graphics department. Did not try MP and will most likely struggle to find time to finish SP. Overall rating 2.5 out of 5.

I quit playing RE 5, couldn't stand the cutscenes every 2 minutes (or damn close to it), the silly ammo load outs and the consequentent running around to break objects and get pick ups, and the over all juvenileness of the plot.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising anyone? I'm on mission 3...................supposed to be a sandbox world but the mission objectives on the larger assault missions are so scripted and time constrained, you can't take advantage of it on them. Nice GFX and runs very well on my rig (much better than ArmA II).

Oh sure! I get an automated (I assume) e mail from Kinnes saying I'm a bitch 'cause I don't stop around anymore...............so when I do...............I see I'm the last guy to have been by anyway! What's up with that?!

Do they have deer hunting in Scotland? We're just getting into bow (and arrow) season in Michigan (white tail deer). They're are so many deer this year the Dept. of Natural Resources (DNR) has modded our hunting rules to allow crossbows under different circumstances in different areas of the state. Firearms season starts on 11/15 and runs to 11/30. I'll be stayin' out of the woods then! Nothing like having 500,000 armed guys (half of 'em hung over or still drunk!) lurking in the woods waiting to blast the BIG ONE. I'll be bagging mine at the local supermarket meat department.................as always! A lot less risky and I don't have to freeze my ass off; or skin and gut it, to get it! A good friend of mine's wife just hit one with her little Chevy. Busted up the drivers side front quarter pretty bad, and she hit it hard enough to flip it acorss the hood (bonnet to you UK types) and stuff one of it's antlers through the windshield (windscreen)! Scared the shit outta her, but she's OK.

Yea Flanker, I gave all my hunting stuff away 2 yrs ago to my nephews and I don't miss it now either. I know I can still kill'em if I need to and that's good enough.

Hey guys been awhile good to see some of the ole guys around. Nothing great in PC land as you know, last game I bought was FEAR2. I love Alma....CODWAW was Ok but just the lst month went back to COD 4 enjoy that much more in MP. Just do it for fun, can't keep up with the youngsters.

Nova I remember that name, not sure what they make anymore.

Did theWolfenstein.demo did not like it at all.

Gor fun I head over to pogo and join some 200,000 + players a day playing all kinds of games. They have over 175 free games so something should fit your fancy.

The next biggest PC FPS shooter who knows , maybe Nova may surprise us all ....not.

Only thing exciting I did this past week is go to Windows 7, not bad at all
