hey guys just wanted to let you all know I just came through bladder cancer surgery and all looks good and clean going forward. Had to wear this Foley for a week and was surely glad to have it taken out. The doctor said it did not hurt him one bit as he removed it.

Anyway things look pretty quiet around here.

Working on FEAR 2 got to love Alma. Really a good game in Sp mode for those who enjoy Sp gaming.

Hope all are well

That is definately something you want to keep in a jar. It's a great conversation piece. I'm glad to hear you came through it well. What is the long term prognosis then?

Glad you got through it but to get it in the first place is a real pisser. The "Big C" is a real stalking horse for some. A cousin of mine died at only 32 within weeks of the diagnosis. I just want to live to 85. Have a big supper in my bed then just not wake up in the morning lol. I dont do illness. It doesnt agree with me hehe. An old guy I worked with years ago once told me "its just as well we dont know what is in front of us". Now Im getting older I am starting to know what he meant by it. Anyway its good to hear there are still a few more gaming years ahead of you.

Hey guys thanks for the good kind words.

Just got back from my urologist. Apparently the almost final report is very good. I will be waiting for about 4-5 weeks for things to heal in the bladder and then start 6 weeks on BCG treatment. This is a preventive procedure which is very success on preventing anything from coming back.

A virus is inserted [ guess how ] into the bladder.

For those medically inclined

Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) for bladder cancer

Feeling great and mental out look excellent.

Sorry to be so late with this!

Both of my parents and my best friend struggled with cancer, it can certainly be a trial. I'm surely glad to hear things went as well as they did for you and wish you the best for a continued and complete recovery!

just had my last preventive treatment 2weeks ago and feel fine. July 1st I go for another looks see if anything is growing back.

To add to that I have a floating piece of bone in my big right toe and need a HEMI implant. The surgery is about 90 minutes, amazing longer then removing the cancer from my bladder. Oh and lastly getting fitted for a hearing aide. Now I will have no excuse in hearing my wife

Glad to hear (pun intended  ) the check up went well! The trick with the hearing aid is to forget to put it in..........................a lot!
